A new Master Plan for Dinosaur Ridge was presented to OSAC on September 5, 2019. Working with Norris Design, Jeffco Open Space convened stakeholders including: Friends of Dinosaur Ridge, State Historic Preservation Office, Jeffco Transportation & Engineering and Jeffco Road & Bridge to complete a Master Plan for the area now known as Westracks.
Westracks includes Dinosaur Ridge, the Dinosaur Ridge visitor center and the greater recreation area.
The goal of this Master Planning process was to create a comprehensive plan for Dinosaur Ridge, including:
o Improvements to resource protection
o Provide a higher quality visitor experience
o Recreation management
o Educational programs
o Park facilities
o Site amenities/features
