Study Session: Randy Frank, Natural Resource Management Supervisor, led OSAC on a field trip to view the new parking lot being built by County Road and Bridge and the site for the new restroom at Reynolds Park; the trailheads for Cathedral Spires, and the restoration work done on the Baehrden Lodge at Pine Valley Ranch Park. Open Space provided the materials and volunteers while HistoriCorp provided the labor. They did a beautiful job and would like to do more. Staff have been in contact with the grandson of the builder and he has provided JCOS with a number of photographs showing the original furnishings, etc. The County Road and Bridge also has filled in and leveled the property around the Baehrden Lodge.

Regular Session: Approved donation of 1.3 acres on the Northwest corner of North Table Mountain Park through which the present trail passes. The access road from Highway 93 across the Northwest corner of the Park also passes through this property. Also approved easements for the Public Service power line up to the one-acre Sage tower site on top of the mesa and for Sage to access the tower through the trailhead along Highway 93.
