PLAN Jeffco is proud of our community’s achievements in preserving many of the important natural areas within Jefferson County.
Using funds from a 0.5 percent sales tax, Jefferson County Open Space has protected more than 56,000 acres of land, while creating 27 regional parks and about 261 miles of trails that can be enjoyed without entry fees.
One of the best ways for us to celebrate these achievements and remind ourselves of the importance of continued support of these values is to simply visit and enjoy one of our many Open Space parks.
Treasure them with respect for our natural resources, Open Space Park Regulations and fellow park visitors.
